Tick, Tick?..
The clock is ticking in Washington. The continuing resolution (CR) that authorizes government spending
expires on March 4th, and unless Congress and Obama can agree on a new one, the government will shut
down. Obama has threatened to veto the spending-slashing bill now before the House. Senate Republicans
vow to press for cuts of a similar magnitude.
